- Me - Dezső Mező, a Budapest-based software engineer. I design, build and run production-grade software end to end, myself - AI agents, web and mobile apps, web shops, blockchain and cybersecurity. One person from idea to a running system you own, no juniors learning on your budget, in English or Hungarian.

- How does a project start, and how fast?
- It starts with a free 30-minute intro call. You describe the problem in plain words; we scope it, send a written estimate with a timeline, and usually ship a working prototype within the first two weeks.
- How much does a project cost?
- It depends on scope. A focused project starts around EUR 2,000; enterprise-scale work runs EUR 15-30k. You get a fixed written estimate with scope and timeline after the intro call - no surprises.

- Yes - AI is a core practice. We build private, EU-hosted assistants that answer only from your own documents, plus RAG search, workflow automation and multi-agent systems, engineered so they don't leak data or hallucinate.
- Does DField do original AI research?
- Yes. Dezső Mező has published three openly-licensed AI papers on Zenodo (CC BY 4.0): two co-authored with Noaber AI, on agent safety (The Hardened Shell) and on self-adapting language models (Fewer, Better Self-Edits), plus a solo practitioner report on optimizing production retrieval (RAG) for accuracy, speed and cost at once. The AI we ship is grounded in research, not hype.
